One of the pioneering services in the Brazil to dedicate itself exclusively to aesthetic procedures in medicine, Clínica Magacho was brought to Fortaleza, Ceará, in 2005, using the experience accumulated by Dr. Fabiano Magacho in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

About Dr. Fabiano Magacho

Dr. Magacho studied medicine at the Fluminense Federal University in Niterói, near Rio de Janeiro, and completed postgraduate courses in Dermatology, Dermatological Surgery, Aesthetic Medicine and Nutrology. He later completed his PhD in Biotechnology at the State University of Ceará.
He is a specialist in Dermatology, board certified by the Brazilian Society of Dermatology and the Federal Council of Medicine, and in Dermatological Surgery, board certified by the Brazilian Society of Dermatological Surgery, being a full member of both societies. He is a former president of the Brazilian Association of Aesthetic Medicine (2014-15).
With 20 years of experience in aesthetic procedures and cosmiatry, he is currently the Medical Director of Clinica Magacho and Magacho Institute of Health Education and head of the Clinical, Surgical and Aesthetic Dermatology Department at the Batista Memorial Hospital, both in Fortaleza, Brazil.
He worked at the Ceara State University, as a PhD student and researcher at the Electrophysiology Laboratory, and was also the professor responsible for creating the Postgraduate Program in Cosmiatry and Aesthetic Procedures for that university.
He has been teaching physicians in Brazil and abroad since 2005. He has been a speaker for Merz Pharmaceuticals, Galderma Global, Galderma Brasil, MedBeauty and Medithread PDO. He wrote the book Mecanismos Moleculares do Envelhecimento Cutâneo in 2007 and regularly publishes scientific papers in international newspapers and magazines. He currently works as medical director of Derma Dream Brasil and as a speaker for LG Chem (South Korea).
